i bought this frame a couple weeks ago. a size 16 of united dominate, white. i'm suppose to build another bike for my wife. but i kinda have strange attraction for this frame. hell, i might be building another bike for me again. i won't mind at all, but my wife will.. hardykancut-harhar.. :p

seperti yang kalian sudah tahu, gue bukan kepala gudang chip lagi (walau masih nyimpan kuncinya, huehehe). ke mana gue sekarang? halah, kalian toh sudah pada tahu kan? :p bagi yang belum tahu, ya silakan tanya ke oknum-oknum yang berkepentingan..

eniwei, gue belum sempat bikin major update untuk blog kancut ini. tapi, at least gue sudah ganti header blog ini. lihat di atas kan?

today is my last day at chip. i bought a few pans of pizza for a farewell ceremony back at the office..



before that, i had a great lunch with my very best friend, ajeng. thank you so much for all your support all this time.. :)

at the evening, i clean up my cubicle for the last time. but, i'm also preparing my personal table inside the lab.. :p

soon, i will embark on a new journey. so help me god..

menjelang wiken ini, gue ngabur siang2 bolong main boling di ps. sekalian tes sepatu nih ceritanya. bola sih tetep warisan keluarga..
dan hasilnya:

ini dia anak pertama gue, yudhistira!



lahir akhir bulan agustus lalu, dengan penuh perjuangan oleh ibunya: induksi manual, induksi infus, suntik ila, lalu lahir normal dibantu vacuum. total lima hari di rumah sakit. wow, istri gue memang hebat! anak gue lahir dengan berat 3070 gram, panjang 49 cm..
kata banyak orang sih anak gue mirip ibunya banget. sial, gue gak disisain apa-apa :p well, that's okay. kita lihat aja nanti. moga-moga kalo dia nanti sudah besar nggak jadi kepala gudang.. amien.

a year (plus one day) has passed, and i am still alive.. hip hip hooray! :)

adios prosesor..

sebentar lagi, chip harus merelakan dua prosesor intel yang selama ini menjadi ‘tulang punggung’ pengujian, yaitu E6700 dan QX6700. chip mendapatkan kedua prosesor ini dalam bentuk press-kit untuk keperluan pengujian produk di majalah.

biasanya, jika melihat sampel-sampel prosesor yang pernah dikirimkan sebelumnya, chip dapat menggunakan press-kit seperti ini untuk kepentingan pengujian sepuasnya. namun, beberapa hari lalu, chip mendapat kabar dari intel (via public relation-nya) bahwa mereka akan menarik kembali kedua prosesor (pinjaman) tersebut.

walaupun intel menjanjikan sampel prosesor pengganti yang lebih baru, hal ini tetap akan mempengaruhi kinerja pengujian di chip karena waktu pengirimannya pun belum jelas. sambil menunda pengembalian prosesor ini, chip berharap bisa mendapatkan prosesor-prosesor sendiri dari pihak manajemen, tanpa perlu bergantung pada press-kit ataupun peminjaman bersyarat.
